Attitude

Attitude

The longer I live, the more I realise the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude to me, is more important than facts.

It is more important than the past,

than education,

than money,

than circumstances,

than failure,

than successes,

than what other people think or say or do.

Its more important than parents, giftedness,or skill.

It will make or break a company, church or home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past..

We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.

We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it.

And so it is with you….We are in charge of our attitudes.

What happens when we stop worrying

When you decide to stop worrying what people think.

Do you know what happens when we stop worrying about what other people might think of you?

You get to dance.

You get to sing.

You get to laugh loudly, paint, write and create.

You get to be yourself.

And you know what?

Some people won’t like you.

Some will laugh and make a point of your flaws

but it won’t bother you all that much!

Shine Brightly

Shine Brightly

Some people are going to reject you,

simply because you shine too bright for them,

And that’s okay. Keep shining.

The love that saves us is not a love that might come to us in the future,

but rather the love that we can give to whomever is around us right

now.

Embracing Silence

Embracing Silence

I don’t have to talk

I don’t have to say something meaningful

I don’t have to try

I can just feel kind and gentle

inside and out

and in all the space around me

Hopefully it’s contagious

a bug I can pass on

All breathing in kindness

and breathing out kindness

carrying kindness woven into our clothing

moving through our hair

hitching a lift in our cells

riding through our vessels

this aura of gentleness and peace

speaks and reassures

without words or razmataz

Breathe in this gentle healer

inhale its gift

..and pass it on.
