This beautiful breathing space is situated in the rolling hills of Devon.
This purpose-built studio has been created with deep consideration for our planet’s resources. An Air Source heat pump and solar panels supply us with clean green
energy for our central and under floor heating in the Yoga studio. We have beautiful pure UV filter borehole water too.
The Yoga shared at Namaste Barn focuses on holistic authentic yoga practices including, breath work Pranayama, Asana yoga postures, Meditation and Yoga insight philosophies to support our life right now

Jo’s journey began in 2006 with her own search to restore and recover.
She had been supporting her son Matt’s journey through the special education system, he has autistic spectrum challenges, and Jo had got lost somewhere between bureaucracy and overwhelm.
Hatha Yoga, TRE and Meditation practices propped, strengthened and soothed her so completely that she wanted to pass their gift on to others.
Jo is a 500+ hours Yoga Teacher. After completing her training with the Devon School of Yoga, tutored by Duncan Hulin and his inspirational group of tutors. Since qualifying she travelled to India to further her yoga journey.
Taking a course in yoga and meditation at Phool Chatti Ashram in Rishikesh and studying at Sivananda Ashram Neyyar Dam in Kerala. She went on to study with Dr Bo Forbes Clinical psychologist and Yoga therapist enabling her to understand more about how we hold emotional memories and traumas in our bodies. Jo studied restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater and has assisted her at London workshops.
She is also passionate about the healing benefits of Yoga Nidra and has studied Richard Miller’s therapeutic Yoga Nidra and Total Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli at Yoga Campus. In 2022 Jo completed a 5 Day
Yin Yoga Teaching intensive Course with Norman Blair, igniting her desire to share this deeply grounding mindful practice. Jo’s focus is on supporting you to find release from both physical and emotional tension, stress and trauma. Specialising in the field of tension release and trauma recovery, she is an Advanced TRE Trauma Release Practitioner and Mentor, supporting people to release tension, stress and trauma in a comfortable, gentle way.
Jo is an Advanced TRE Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and EFT Practitioner, providing Tension &Trauma Release Therapies, offering powerful release from emotional and physical stress safely and effectively.
